eScience/grid awareness day

Friday 6 May 2005

General information

The NIEeS and the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory are co-organising an eScience/Grid awareness day at the Foresight Centre in Liverpool University. The aim of this one-day workshop is to provide an update on the broad range of eScience activities within the UK. We plan a mix of background/information talks and presentations of case studies, some with live demonstrations. This awareness day covers a wide range of topics and will be of interest both to those just starting their eScience journey and those with more experience.

The local organiser is Colin Stephens of POL.
