NIEeS reached the end of its contract in August 2008. This website remains as a historical document and as a gateway to the archive of presentations and supplementary material.
Who we were
NIEeS was a relatively small unit. We had a director, funded by the University of Cambridge, a deputy director, two technical experts and one administrator.

How to find us
We have a Google map showing where we were. You can zoom, and pan, and view the satellite image, as with all Google maps.
By train
National Rail Enquiries offers a route planner on it's home page. Taxis and numerous bus routes link the railway station with the centre of the city, though walking is also possible.
By car
Driving and parking in the centre of Cambridge is difficult and should be avoided if possible. There is a Park and Ride scheme which might be useful to visitors coming for one day only. The University of Cambridge has produced a clickable map of the parts of Cambridge containing university buildings. NIEeS is located in the Downing Site.
By bus
National Express operates services between Cambridge and major cities and airports.
